This is a 1987 Plymouth Sundance 5-Door hatchback.

We purchased this car in Spokane in May of '04 for our Son to drive. He drove it and ran it out of oil and blew the engine.

We had the engine rebuilt by a certified mechanic located in Colville, WA. in June of '05. (We still have the paperwork for what was done to it. About $2000 worth of work.) We have put approximately 23,500 miles on it since then and it still runs like new.

The engine is a 2.2L 4 cyl. gas engine with turbo. It is also front wheel drive.

This car has been serviced by our mechanic in Colville every 3000 miles, and any problems were addressed at that time and taken care of.

I don't think the air conditioning works, although I never tried it, really. We don't drive the car that often as you can tell by the mileage we've put on it since the new engine. I don't remember them fixing it, so I am not sure if it works. All four windows roll-down great though! And the heater works nicely and keeps you toasty in the winter. It comes with the set of street tires that are on it, that are in fairly good condition. I believe they have about 8000 miles on them. There is a small tear in the back seat on the left. The paint on the hood looks like something was spilled on it, but it has been that way since we bought it. The rest of the paint is in fairly good condition and waxes-up nicely. The shocks that hold-up the rear hatch actually still work on their own! The headliner is starting to come-down, but it's not serious yet. The dashboard is not even cracked!

The only reason we are selling this car is for the fact that we own a diesel Suburban that runs on veggie oil, and we would like to get another small 4-door diesel car to do the same thing to. (Preferably an older Mercedes). It is a great driving car in the winter and in the summer. Would make a great first car for someone, or a great back-up car as it was for us.
